I had the Chicken Fajita Taco Bowl, which was pretty good—the shell was crispy and held everything together nicely. The chicken was decent. The real highlight was the free chips and salsa. Fresh, crunchy chips paired with a tangy salsa made for a great start. I added a bit of their green spicy salsa into the salsa for the chips, and it gave it a perfect kick—highly recommend if you like a little heat. The atmosphere was great—relaxed, friendly, and felt genuinely Mexican. The staff were super attentive and quick to bring out more chips without us even asking. Overall, El Rey is a solid spot with authentic flavors, great service, and a cozy vibe that makes you want to come back."

"Could not recommend this place enough! It can be difficult finding the right Mexican spot to fill your craving, but this spot went above and beyond! Every single plate of food that went by to neighboring tables was mouth watering and great sizes. Our dishes checked every box! The service was fast and positive, matching the overall ambience of the restaurant. We waited 6-8 minutes for our entrees. 10/10 would recommend trying!"

"I use to eat at the Miami Florida Location and this guy makes the BEST BIRRIA TACOS!!! I am not kidding. I miss this place so much.. I moved to Atlanta Georgia and nobody’s even close. The father moved to Kansas and I was just googling and remembering how good his food was. If you’re ever in Kansas go to this place and if you’re ever in Miami Florida go see his daughters the best tacos.!!"

"Road trip great find. Agree with the reviews, expansive menu, great food & service. My tilapia & shrimp over roasted vegetables were perfect. I happily requested the queso on the side, and opted for more chips vs tortillas. My husband also enjoyed his steak & mushroom salad."
